Patna is one of the oldest cities in the world and also one of the fastest-growing urban centers in eastern India. With increasing population, expanding residential areas, and rising traffic on roads, daily travel in the city has become more challenging. Patna Metro is being developed by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in association with the Government of Bihar.
